1. Who we are

This service ("BaZi Desk", "we", "us") is operated by Zhang Yang, contactable at support@bazidesk.com. By using the site or buying a reading, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. What the service is

We generate interpretive readings based on traditional Four Pillars (BaZi) frameworks, applied algorithmically to birth data you provide. The readings are cultural and interpretive in nature. They are provided for entertainment and self-reflection purposes only.

We do not provide, and nothing in a reading constitutes, medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, tax, financial, investment, or other professional advice. A reading is not a diagnosis, a treatment, a forecast of events, or a substitute for a qualified professional. If you are dealing with a health, legal, or financial matter, consult someone licensed to help you with it.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase a reading. By purchasing, you confirm that you are. If you are buying for another person, you confirm that you have their knowledge and permission to submit their birth data, and that they are 18 or older.

4. Your inputs

You are responsible for the accuracy of the birth date, time, and place you submit. A reading generated from incorrect inputs is not defective — it is a correct reading of the wrong moment. If you notice an error, contact us within 30 days and we will regenerate the report at no charge.

5. Orders and payment

Payments are processed by our merchant of record, which acts as the legal seller of record on every transaction and handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable sales tax and VAT, and chargeback liability. Your card details are handled by that provider and never reach us.

Prices are shown in US dollars. The final amount, currency, and any applicable tax are confirmed at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order already placed.

6. Delivery

Readings are digital and delivered immediately after payment is confirmed, by email link and PDF. If you do not receive it within one hour, check your spam folder and then contact us. Our obligation is to deliver the reading to the email address you provided; we are not responsible for delivery failures caused by an incorrect address.

7. Cancellation and refunds

Because readings are digital content delivered immediately, you expressly consent to immediate delivery at the point of purchase and acknowledge that you thereby lose any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply — including the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU consumer law.

Separately, and voluntarily, we offer a seven-day refund window in defined circumstances. The full policy is on the refund page, which forms part of these terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to: resell, redistribute, or republish a reading as your own product; submit another person's birth data without their knowledge; use the service to harass, defraud, or mislead anyone; scrape or automate access to the site; or present our readings as professional advice to a third party.

9. Intellectual property

The site, the reading engine, and the written report templates are ours. The specific reading generated for you is yours to keep, print, and share privately. You may not resell it or publish it commercially.

10. No warranty

The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that a reading will be accurate, complete, current, or suitable for any particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Interpretive frameworks produce interpretations; they do not produce facts about the future.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the reading in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision you make after reading a report. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your order. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of your own country of residence.
